MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The maintenance technician must be capable of performing maintenance and expediting repairs on all electronic equipment in the broadcast facilities. Types of equipment include videotape record/playback machines in various formats; field and studio cameras; computer driven videotape cartridge handling devices; and various computer driven devices. Thorough knowledge of telemetry/operation of remote microwave signal set-ups and satellite signal operational techniques required. Must possess the capability to troubleshoot electronic equipment to the component level. A degree in electronic or electrical engineering is desirable; however, previous experience and performance may be considered in lieu of a degree. A minimum of two years experience in television broadcast or related field maintenance is required. SBE certification desirable.


CMX Editor
Duties include using computer/editor to edit together promotional announcements, full length programs, commercials, public service announcements, news stories, and all other on-air material requiring post production. Also assist other departments in visualizing, designing, conception and production of audio/video projects. Degree in TV broadcast/telecommunications desirable; previous experience may be accepted in lieu of a formal degree. A minimum of five years experience in post production/editing required.


ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK
Perform credit checks and collections, prepare reports, billings and maintain receivables. Must be organized and have good communication skills. Previous experience required, media background preferred.


VIDEOTAPE EDITOR
Must keep up with news, understand written news stories and edit video to tell stories visually. Must be able to learn the operation of a newsroom computer and be able to perform under severe deadline pressure. Duties include editing news stories on videotape, working with or without a reporter , take in feeds and coordinating editing with producer. Must be willing to work nights, weekends or early mornings. One year experience in editing TV newsroom videotape required as well as knowledge of videotape editing equipment and experience with electronic news gathering. College degree preferred.
